I'm heading down to Sydney for the weekend in a few weeks time and was wondering where the best place to stay would be that's in close walking or driving distance to vegan eateries?
We also need to go to Olympic Park, so preferably not more than 20 minutes drive from there
Newtown is the vegan hub of Sydney and has, by far, the most vegan and vegan friendly places to eat in Sydney. It also has a vegan grocer and is only a 15 min walk from Glebe (which has the Cruelty Free Shop and quite a few vegan/vegan friendly places to eat too).
Newtown & Glebe are the best for vegan eateries - as for olympic park though your looking at a 30 min drive at least, you could always catch a train to central and then catch a train to olympic park
Newtown is a good place with awesome vibes. Been there and love it.
If you wanna try delicious Asian Vegan food, Cabramatta has a great variety and the vegan groceries are awesome too.
Happy house hunt!
Thanks for the tips Ended up booking in Cabramatta as we got a good deal on a hotel, and since the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from central we can catch the train to Olympic park.
So what are your favourite places to eat at? I have been looking on happy cow and there are just so many places to choose from.
