Did you know that soya can possibly harm your health, now I am going to be really careful with what I say here, but it can interfere with your hormone's, some young boys who have grown up with soya as a main in their diet have developed breasts.
** This is not with everyone, some are more affected than others, and there isn't any solid evidence, so everyone can choose whether or not to consume**
So if you are eating soya and it has not effected you then the likes are your body likes it. I don't want to put anyone off vegetarianism or anything, I don't eat soya products and i am fully vegetarian, I only eat some soya every now and then.
It can also affect pregnant women, teenagers and growing children. Do me a favor and don't just look up one site on google because they can be really one sided.this is an excerpt from livestrong

Soybeans are rich in protein and can be made into many different products, including soy milk. Soy milk is commonly consumed by vegans and the lactose intolerant. Products made with soy may also have an effect on hormonal levels within the body, though soy milk's ability to affect hormone levels is still being studied.
Isoflavones
Soy milk and products made with soy contain a variety of chemicals, but of particular interest is a class of compounds known as isoflavones. Chemically similar to estrogen, isoflavones are unique chemicals made by soybeans. Estrogen affects cells by binding to special proteins known as receptors, which then transmit signals to the cell. These chemicals, sometimes known as phytoestrogens, might be able to interact with these receptors.
Some people consume soy products, such as soy milk, in the hopes of reducing symptoms of menopause. Menopause occurs when your ovaries stop producing eggs and results in a drop in estrogen levels. This drop in estrogen can cause hot flashes, osteoporosis and other symptoms of menopause. In theory, the phytoestrogens in soy could help reduce hot flashes and other menopausal symptoms. According to the MedLinePlus, soy milk and other soy products may be effective in this regard, though more research is needed.
Soy and Increased Cancer Risk
Another question involving soy milk is the effect of isoflavones on your risk of developing cancers that respond to hormones, the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine notes. Increased estrogen signaling is associated with an elevated risk of developing breast, uterine and ovarian cancer. This is because estrogen stimulates growth in these tissues and unusual cell growth can lead to the development of cancerous cells. In theory, isoflavones could bind to the estrogen receptors in these cells and stimulate cell growth, so women who have a high risk of developing these cancer may want to avoid soy milk.
Soy and Cancer Prevention
Isoflavones do not necessarily stimulate estrogen receptors. Because isoflavones are only similar in chemical structure to estrogen, they could also bind to estrogen receptors but block signaling instead of stimulating them. This means that soy milk could potentially reduce your risk of developing breast, uterine and ovarian cancer. According to the Harvard School of Public Health, women who consume large amounts of soy during early adulthood and adolescence have a reduced incidence of breast cancer, which shows that more research needs to be done regarding the effects of soy on hormones.
