how much sleep does everyone get a night?

I generally get about 3-4 hours though it seams to be all i need. Though i dislike sleeping so little since only a month back i was on meds which were making me sleep 12 hours a night. I rely don't know what to do with all this extra time and for the record 3am is rely boring.

2 years ago i went through a period of 6 months where i was only sleeping a hour a night. that's part of the reason i went on those meds.

Oh, wow. I WISH I could get by on that little sleep!

I think I'm happiest on ~8 hrs a night, but can get by on less.

What DO you do with your spare time? happy Maybe we can help with some ideas!

My sleep sucks too. At the moment I'm awake until around midnight, then again at some point in the night for a couple of hours (I lie there and doze on and off but I'm not asleep) and then I have another couple of hours before I'm awake anywhere between 6 and 7. Sigh. I hate not sleeping!

I usually aim for 6-8 hours. Too little or too much makes me tired!

I bought these pills to help me sleep but when I take them, they make me tired for the whole of the next day as well.. So there's not really any point. sad But yeah, I wish I could sleep better. When I stay at a friend's place they're always asleep within like, 90 seconds of turning off the light and I'm just laying there for hours, hah.

Good to know im not the only one.

Though i find the worse part is that i don't know when im going to get to sleep and generally stay awake until i crash, sometimes that can take two days. I dont mind sleeping so little but it would be good if my body was in a pattern where it would go to sleep and wake up at the same time each day.

I got 4 hours sleep this arvo and feel pretty good.

I cannot function without my sleep - well, I can function, but not in a socially acceptable way haha!

Apparently, to wake up refreshed and get proper rest and all that, you're supposed to sleep in factors of 1.5hours, ie., 1.5, 3, 4.5, 6, 7.5, 9 etc
So rather than 8 hours you're supposed to either do 7.5 or 9. It usually works for me, but most of the time I don't plan it properly.

I wish I didn't need to sleep so much, like Bop and Azmillan! Then I might actually get some study done...

Hmm. I get about 8 hours sleep.
If I'm on holidays, I'll stay up until 5-6ish in the morning and sleep until about 2 or 3 pm. I hate school >.>
