Hi, I am desperately looking for some affordable vegan sunscreen. I have seen some older posts on this topic but was wondering if maybe there were some new sunscreens on the market? Thank you to anyone who replies!!

Just found this stuff at Woolies the other day called "Invisible Zinc". Completely mineral based, vegan friendly and nasty chemical free! They have kids & adult ranges plus skin tone varieties. I believe they are an Aussie company too!

Natural instinct is the best. It stays on well, and I never get burnt when wearing it.

You can buy it from Priceline and selected chemists.

There is also Natio, but I have found that the sunscreen is only very light, and does not offer as much protection. Its works okay though if you are only going outside for a short period of time.

Thanks Damo! I just bought this today after reading your post. It's fantastic!!! I was a little worried about buying it when the packet said "product may leave a white caste on certain skin types" but it feels just like normal sun screen only a lot less oily... more like a really nice face moisturiser. Smells like summer! ecstatic

Oh and I usually look pretty oily and greasy and shiny after applying sunscreen but this doesn't do that at all... but it "outshines" all the other sunscreens out there for sure! haha ecstatic ... sorry. tongue
