A youtube comment claims that "They're not vegan anymore. They're like ... I dunno." And if there's one thing I know about the internet - it's that anything on it must be true.
Still, if you think that becoming spokespeople for KFC is a bit of a dick move by the brothers, then why not let 'em know (politely)?

I sent them both tweets about everyday.. and ended up getting a response from Benjii. He thanked me for my kind words as I told him how their music has helped me a lot through the past, but didn't make a comment on my suggestion of watching make it possible, as factory farming is what KFC supports. The fact that he responded.. with over 400,000 followers means a lot, and at least now they have the option to look further if they want.
In the end at least they aren't telling people to eat kfc.. it was more KFC funding them to come over to Australia..
I don't know. It's really hard to be mad at these boys because I have been a fan of their band for years.. and like I said to Benjii, they have helped me through a lot. Although disappointed, it could have been worse I guess.

Not trying to be mean, but that's exactly what they are doing. They are promoting KFC, therefore promoting their 'food' and promoting cruelty to our animal friends.
I can understand that's probably a bit hard to except when they've been your idols for years. I know I'd be heart broken if I found out my role models had sold out for a pile of cash too.
