I'm not too fond of religion altogether, and I don't believe in any sort of a god.

I don't like the way some people force their religion on others. Or punish people for some random thing they did which 'goes against their religion'.
I'm Wiccan, and I have a lot of respect for other religions like Buddhism.

<--- Buddhist in the making.

This is the reason I became a vegetarian happy one of the precepts says "I undertake the training rule to abstain from taking life." this obviously includes the life of animals.

Buddhism to me is a very peaceful way of life. It respects all things - including other religions.

Now if I could only train my mind to STFU when I'm trying to meditate everything would be sweet lol

im a pagan/atheist happy Im extremly heavily into paganism, but i like the idea of this particular branch (reveling in nature, mother earth etc) So yeah.

But im not very fond of mainstream religions and how oppressive they can be. I dont beleive any yaweh or any other god.

And right now i can just see Bio typing out a big, long, smart and well thought out comment on this thread at this very minute..tongue

Hard core atheist coming through haha

"Rules"? Well, there are different paths in Wicca, but the only 'rule/guide' thing most go by is the Wiccan Rede (with many variations) "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will". Though, this does not mean you can't do anything that harms someone else. More that any action that harms no one is acceptable. Wicca is different from Atheism because you believe the existence of gods/divinity/deities. Oh and Wicca is different from Christianity because there are 'two' main gods, The God and the Goddess, both as important, neither can exist without the other. Although they are one, just as everything is one. The Goddess is the feminine side of the being, represented by the cycle of the moon, cycle of life, Maiden (youth, birth, expansion; Waxing moon), Mother (fertility, sexuality, fulfillment, stability, power and life; Full moon) and Crone (wisdom, repose, death, and endings; Waning moon). Feminine energy is associated with the spiritual world. The God being the masculine side, Horned God, he alternates with the Goddess in ruling over the fertility cycle of birth, death and rebirth. He is lord of the forest and field. He is represented by the sun and the physical world.

But,you can choose what to believe in etc.
If you want to look into it here a few good websites:
