Haha. I know many guys who love cats.
I'll be a dog person till the end. This is probably because I grew up with a lab (she's 6 weeks younger than me) and we had budgies. and stupid cats killed them.
So, I used to absolutely HATE them. HATE THEM. I made posters about how dogs were awesome and cats sucked
But I kind of like them more now. But they are meaner than dogs (usually).
Same here. I had a cat when I was younger (she died) and loved cats until cats from around the neighbourhood began fighting in our front yard and would kill our birds. We'd be constantly chasing them off, you'd get up in the morning and a cat would be lying on top of the avairy. They killed the two friendliest birds. I was the one that found one of them dead and the other one, my special bird, died in my hands.
Although, to be fair, it's not entirely the cats' fault. We were constantly picking up cats and taking them back to their owners, because they would just let them roam free during the night. By law you have to keep your cat on your property. One of them kept denying that the cat ever went off the property, which was interesting considering we regularly caught the same cat in our backyard. Eventualy we just got sick of people not taking proper care of their cats and took every cat we found in our backyard to the local pound.
My cat wasn't agressive at all, she'd sit and watch the birds, but never ever tried to attack them. We've moved now, though, so we don't get cats anymore, we get bush rats.
