Hey guys,

I am getting married in november this year and am having trouble finding someone to do my makeup and hair that uses Vegan Makeup & Hair Products.

I live in Sydney, does anyone know someone in or around Sydney who uses vegan products?

Or, anyone willing to use supplied makeup?

Thanks guys... any other advise is appreciated too! broccoli

Omg, Im getting married on October this year and also live in sydney, wondering the exact same thing. Where abouts in sydney are you?
I get my hair done at a hairdresser in dulwich hill who uses De lorenzo and she'll be doing my wedding hair.
Make up im still trying to find though sad
Are you going to the bridal expo feb 24th stamford plaza? I was thinking of asking around if they are cruelty free.

Couldn't you hire someone and get them to use vegan makeup that you have bought yourself?
That's probably what I would do in this situation, because I can imagine that most (if not all) makeup artists would not be using cruelty free products.

Also for hair De Lorenzo: http://www.delorenzo.com.au/online/salon-locator.html

I'd imagine that would be what you could do? I don't see why they won't use your makeup, you are paying them after all.

I'll ask the question for you on my Vegan Beauty Facebook page.  I have a few makeup artists I sell to.  If I find out anyone I shall contact you happy

Not sure how many makeup artists would be willing to do that if they don't know the brand of makeup as they may see it as a not so good reflection of their work if it doesn't turn out to their standards.
Also I know I'm happy with the vegan makeup I use for everyday wear but wouldn't want a make up artist to use it for my wedding day. I am so desperate to find a vegan brand of make up that lasts all day and looks magnificent without needing many if not any touch ups on the day.
Apparently la glam are mainly vegan but some lipsticks now contain beeswax so you need to double check but they have makeup artists around Sydney.

I'm sure they would be willing if you discussed it with them before hand, and the makeup that you had bought was good quality. There are are a lot of reputable vegan friendly brands that are popular with both vegans and non vegans alike.
A lot of hair dressers will put hair dye in your hair that you have bought yourself, so I don't see why there wouldn't be makeup artists that would be willing to do the same thing.

I agree I wouldn't want to use my everyday makeup, I would buy all new makeup for a fresh and different look happy

That's what make up trials are for! They should ALWAYS be done! And as a make up artist I always take in product suggestions!
