I still have the vegetarian one.
moi too
me three... it doesn't mean we vegos care any less for animals though
I understand what you mean, but if you don't have the problem of parents not allowing you to go vegan, and aren't halted by health problems; it's as unethical to eat meat as it is to consume commercially produced dairy/eggs...... in my opinion.
i know what you mean, at the mo. its too hard for moi to go vegan. i would love to and i am trying to cut butter and cheese off. we have vegan butter and i only eat the eggs OUR chickens laid. at least i know that ours are well cared for. i am also starting to drink soy milk. in my opionion, i dont think its as bad as eating meat. thats low. at least im trying.
yeh, like i said, if health or parents a problem it's understandable that you'd continue to consume milk.
what i'm asking is: what's the difference between people saying "i like dairy milk more than soy milk to go vegan" to, "i like steak too much to go vegan?" it's just people putting their tastebuds ahead of their ethics.
both choices -- steak and milk -- result in death. milk however arguably is the result of far more cruelty; from the 'rape racks', to the branding, to the cows being milked until they bleed, to the bobby calves being torn from their mothers, trucked hundreds of kilometres, only to be slaughtered at an infant age.
some say there is no such thing as an ethical vegetarian.
