Tolday, my gorgeous ex-battery hen Houdini finally succumbed to old age. It is crazy how much i am going to miss that little old chook! Anyone who has ever owned a chook i am sure will agree.
I got given her when a friend moved house and couldn't take her with them, and am not sure where she was from. The only thing good that can possibly come of this is that she had a very happy retirement and now i can rescue more of the gorgeous girls. Can anyone help me find battery chickens in Victoria - i live in warrnambool.
