Thanks for the replies!
I don't tend to eat a lot of premade vegetarian/vegan stuff like burgers etc as I prefer the taste of the things I've made myself and I very rarely eat oily/fried food as it upsets my stomach.
I'm thinking of just ditching the dairy entirely as I eat so little of it anyway - it's more of a consuming it because it's there thing, I haven't bought dairy products in a year myself but the meat eaters in the house do.
Do you guys have any suggestions for helping clear skin up? Any face scrubs or anything I could make? The ones online all have odd ingredients haha
my skin was really, really bad last year. it's cleared up so much since then, especially since i switched to natural skin care products. Thursday Plantation's tea tree face wash helped my skin a lot, but it can be really drying - so be sure to follow with a good moisturiser... a lot of people think that moisturising is counter-productive if you have bad or oily skin, but it's actually quite the opposite - if your skin is too dry, your sebaceous glands produce more oil to compensate!
For moisturiser I use Sukin... I've recently tried their rosehip oil day cream and oh my gosh it's amazing. I've switched back to their cream cleanser as well because I no longer need anything harsher.
Umm... witch hazel is amazing! I use it as a spot treatment, on cotton wool pads as a make up remover and/or just as a toner.
Drinking and applying green tea helped me as well.
wow this was really long, but good luck!
