I tried to look for a source to show that bone char is not used in Australian sugar refineries. No luck so far, but I know I've seen it before. Just remember to be wary of imported products though, like you'd get from fancy lolly shops, since they would have sugar from overseas
Did a little research, Casper. They add anti-caking agents to salt to stop it from clumping. Most I can see are synthetic, but at least one on that wikipedia list says it's bone, so I suppose checking the ingredients and doing a google search is the best bet
