Hello everyone
There must be something that really pisses people off. As in something you really really hate.
And i'm talking about something that a vegan DOESN'T consume.
For Example:
I opened the freezer (just as you randomly do every now and then).
And i nearly threw up and nearly cried.
VEAL
that is one thing i hate
Also another thing i hate is
CAGE EGGS
Now i know everyone wants to say EVERYTHING TO DO WITH ANIMAL PRODUCTS,
And yes me too but i'm talking about
those one or two things
that make you throw up
or cry or both.
At the shops the other day, I was unpacking all my delicious vegan goodness and noticed what the guy in front of my was buying. Expensive preserved fruit, chips, veggies, multivitamins etc. The best cut of meat money could buy ant then.... the cheap caged eggs.
THE CHEAP EGGS! SERIOUSLY???? YOU SPLURGE ON TOILET PAPER AND MULTIVITAMINS BUT YOU BUY THE CHEAP EGGS??????
That pisses me off. (Don't even get me started on the meat or milk...)
Both of my housemates eat cage eggs. It's drives me insane!! So frustrated I feel like offering to pay the price difference. Also chicken really gets on my nerve when they have it out....i just imagine all the factory farmed choocks that never had a life...
I hate every second Thursday and Saturday as they are cattle sale days, when I drive to work I often see trucks loaded with dairy cows and calves on Thursdays and beef cows and calves on Saturdays, knowing that 90% of the trucks that drive out of town are heading to the slaughterhouse makes me feel sick knowing that I can't do anything to help them
I can agree with veal.
And my mothers husband has a real liking for lamb chops. The smell of them cooking though, to me, is like someone poured nail polish remover on an open flame XP And it just hangs in the air for days, letting you know that someone ate lamb the other night >.<
I do feel like Red is being intentionally provocative, though. How is his post a relevant response to this thread? And all his posts are of a similar nature - "hunting is great!" in an anti-hunting thread, and "real fur is better" in a faux fur thread. I'm always open to other people's opinions, but this person just seems like a troll looking for arguments.
