solution=buy chocolate flavoured soy milk. and picture yourself suckling a cow's teats. which would you prefer?
Once I started really thinking where milk came from, 1+ year ago, I couldn't touch it. I mean, we're the only animal that drinks milk after our infancy stage and also the only animal which drinks another species' milk. we're so gross. we're such a disappointment lol.

we also are the only animal which feels a need for revenge and the only animal which has a history of torturing another for pleasure.

we are the perverts of the animal world!! tongue
it makes me sick thinking about it too..even if it weren't cruel..i dont think i could go back. its so..wrong! >.<

Mmmm, soyacinno and strawberry is good happy

I love the taste of Vitasoy Rice Milk (so sweet!) and So Good lite (and nutty!). I don't usually drink milk though, but may drink leftovers from cake cooking so I don't waste it.

yeah, its amazing how blind someone can really be. i was the same like..i used to think there was nothing wrong with drinking milk.

But thats because everyone is saying how good it is for you all throughout your childhood and unless you take a step back and look at it..it seems fine.

I was like this, still am  but to a lesser degree. I hate the taste of nearly all soy milk and certainly can't drink it straight   (except the chocolate so good). At the begining of this year I tried Bonsoy and it is amazing! At least as far as soy milk goes. I really think that if you haven't tried it you shiould cos it has a totally different taste to all the others I tried.

Before Bonsoy (i'm not working for them or anything, i'm just really happy to have found a nice soy milk)  it was really a problem but I just thought which was more important, me enjoying a glass of milk or a cow's right not to be contantly impregnanted, her child taken away, made diseased by repetitive and aggressive milking + all the environmental/water wasting issues it raises...

Well which is more important to you?

Soy milk used to make me gag (some of them still do!).

My suggestion is to try different types of soy milk (as well as others like oat, rice, etc. as suggested here). Even different brands of soy milk taste wildly different in my opinion.

I used to be a huge dairy fan back when I had no clue how much cruelty is involved in producing it... perhaps that made me a very fussy soy milk drinker. I've tried so many different types. Here is my top picks:

Vitasoy Soy Milky Lite (and 'not lite') -- tastes very similar to what I remember cow's milk tasting
Bonsoy -- hard to find, but very nice, similar to soy milky with a little more of a 'natural' taste
Vitasoy anything else (I like vitasoy 'cause it doesn't have that harsh beany taste)
So Good (okay, but a bit beany IMHO)
Any flavoured milks like vitasoy vanilla, so good soyaccino happy happy
