hopefully they will be given to peoples and have a nice life in greeen paddocks.
but they could also be dog meat and glue.
i hope that they are taken care of and not killed.

On the news it showed the sad owners and horses, apparently they have to be destroyed. The owners are TERRIBLY sad.

if the horse have to be destryoed and the owners are TERRIBLY sad, why cant they jsut keep their horses? if they are so upset. but they probably only loved the horses for their wins. people are so shallow sumtimes.

I think The Age said something about the RVL planning to have a few heavily weighted horse races, for the major racing competition to absorb some of the jumps racing competitors; horses and people. Though i don't think you can really say the horses choose to compete.

sooooo, just like horse racing has always been, the champions will be spared and the horses that do not meet the 'standard' will be slaughtered. At least now though that extra heinous branch of horse racing in Victoria is gone... probably forever.

hopefully one day all horse racing will be banned!
