Just thought everyone should know this before supporting this organization.

"The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) has been actively pressuring government agencies in the United States, Canada, and Europe to greatly increase the amount of testing that they require for new and existing pesticides and other chemicals.. The result of the WWF's lobbying has been the establishment of what threaten to be the largest animal-testing programs of all time.."

Write a letter to Mr James P. Leape, Director-General of WWF-International telling him you object to the WWF's slaughter of millions of animals in laboratories.

sad there seems to be less and less people who actually fully do the right thing. That makes me sad.

I heard about this. I couldn't believe it. I used to support them but I don't anymore. It's a shame because they do some great work. But I can't support them when they have these views.

Why on earth would they support things like that? Is there actually a reason?

I'm not sure, but I always get a little skeptical when people describe themselves as a 'conservationist.' Keeping a species alive sometimes means employing culls, which many conservationists defend.

I've never really liked the WWF for some reason... this doesn't help their cause in my eyes.
