Ok you may still be for it.

But why do you yourself need to consume it? How does you consuming milk help people in unfortunate countries?

All you are doing is contributing to unnecessary cruelty just for the sake of something that is unnecessary for the human diet. Why do we in affluent western countries need to contribute to the inhumane practices of the dairy industry?

Yes but for the ONE SINGLE benefit of drinking milk (calcium) you are getting artery clogging saturated fats, pus, antibiotics, blood, feces, bacteria and viruses.

Whereas plant based sources have no negative affect and depending on your choice of plant has many many benefits.

Science has also proven that living a vegan diet grants you a longer and healthier life... not to mention saves animals and the planet. happy

Also once again when presented with facts after you claiming milk is less likely to be an allergen than any other product, which is false.... you have not returned with a tangible reason yet claim because you have seen it do 'some' good it somehow justifies the bad to humans health, the environment and last but certainly not least the animals. Not to mention for someone using science worldwide information claiming that the benefits of milk have been proven and recognised, i feel i must insist you re-educate yourself with current information... I feel you have attempted to make examples of why you are pro-milk yet when presented with counter claims proving that your reasons are not reason but rather excuses... you decline to have a constructive conversation.

Over the past few days i have noticed this pattern with you, people ask you for your opinion - you provide it and explain your reasons - then they counter your claims with truthful and upto date information and yet you still refuse to reason. So please dont take this wrongly I assure you i mean no offence, but, you seem to be a bit troll like... or are you generally interested in animal rights advocating - because every topic so far you have always rule for animal torture, use and exploitation so i don't quite understand you.

Also i've been fact checking your information about the establishments of dairy farms post ww2 as well as free milk to the undernourished and poor in Aus and Brit... could you please provide a link - i am quite interested in reading this for i have never heard of it...

Also have you noticed that illness and disease has risen since the introduction of milk... as well as the exponentially increasing intake of animal origin foods also raising the level of health concerns not just from consumption but also production.

Great points there Kylie. Just wanted to add that the milk calcium thing isn't a benefit, it has now been proven that milk is bad for your bones. High animal protein intake directly correlates with osteoporosis.

Ohhh so now it gets even more interesting - evidence indicates there are 'NO' benefits but rather sooo many health related issues directly link to the consumption of dairy products...

Yes the so called "benefits" of dairy milk are just simply industry propaganda akin to what Edward Bernays did for the cigarette industry many years ago.

Early on cigarettes were billed as "having health benefits", then when the truth was revealed the industry switched from health related propaganda to counter culture like propaganda. They marketed cigarettes as a way to fight back against "the man", or men in general in the case of women (Bernays setup a stunt at a parade where he paid a group of women to light up cigarettes in protest against inequality, he called them "torches of freedom").

The dairy milk industry is still being billed as "having health benefits". Eventually though the truth will come out and the industry will change tack to target counter culture like trends (it sort of already is with ads like that stupid anti-soy ad and this new American ad which is disgusting as well).

The countries with the highest levels of osteoporosis are the Scandinavian countries like The Netherlands, Norway etc and the Western countries like US, UK, Australia etc.

Coincidentally they are also the countries with the highest intake of dairy products.

Thanks showbags... and Yeah I've seen the commercials - appalling / money making and causing illnesses, it's odd though if they already know it's bad yet sell it claiming it is good... then is that not false advertising?, and negligence on major scale (worldwide) as they are making people sick... knowingly which is a slow form of murder, very much like the tobacco industry was forced to label their products with warnings because it would leave a gaping hole in their legal rights but what about the dairy industry or meat for that matter.

Not to mention on any medication, beauty products etc they all are legally obligated to provide the 'may cause' disclaimer so how is this any different?
