I have been a veggie for many years and I have found that most animals that I come across seem to like and trust me. For example shy dogs that are known to bite decide to sit on my lap. And today these piglets at the petting zoo kept following me and trying to climb all over me and lick me. I've had cows lick me. I've found stray animals scared of everyone except me. I've had wild birds come up  close and eat out of my hands. I think vegetarianism is a lifestyle that keeps me in touch with nature. Anyone else find that? Ahimsa. Life of non violence.

This is what I like to call "Vegan Vibes".
It will get stronger once you become Vegan too.

Haha I've thought about this before too. I noticed that I was moving out of the way for pigeons rather than the other way around. I think maybe it's that we start paying closer attention to the world around us, and animals respond to that happy

me too, happy  the funny thing is that some animals I think even deliberately stay in your way to be a pain - its because they know you care and know that even if they don't move you wont hurt them... which they use to there full advantage lol cheeky buggers!

I've also heard it's because many animals have a better sense of smell, our bodies secrete a totally different smell to what a corpse muncher would. I personally think meat eaters have a distinct smell, perhaps it's even more clear to other animals! Just how my canine companion smells good in comparison to someones meat eating canine companion... you can smell the difference! I think non-human animals can too.

I'm usually always the one the pigs and cows come to when I go see my animal friends at the farm sanctuary I volunteer at. Even though all the others are vegan, the pigs are obsessed with me, they will jump all over me and try and eat my nose/hair. The cows trust me, they lick my face and somehow they can sense how much i love them. It knocks my self esteem way down when an animal doesn't trust me (i know, not all animals love cuddles haha i shouldn't take it so hard)
