Hi, I just found an old post about the petition to stop horse drawn carriages in Melbourne City, this has been something I have felt pretty strongly about for some time - then last night I witnessed one falling, down Flinders Lane, thankfully the horse got it's footing back without taking the other horse and carriage down with it. I'm pretty shaken by it and want to do something about this. I rang the RSPCA and have been told that because the horse wasn't injured before or afterwards (that I could tell) and the driver didn't abuse it for falling there are no grounds for them to lodge a formal complaint. How can we give this another go???
