I absolutely hate it when people take dogs hunting! it's horrible enough that they get taken but for the people who take their dogs but don't have breast plates etc for them is stupid. Yes it is natural instinct for the dogs to go after pigs and other animals but puting dogs deliberately against a big boar is sickening. A lot of the people that take dogs out hunting think of them as disposable, many of them anyway. I know of people who have taken out small dogs such as kelpies just to see how they will go against a pig that is more than twice their size!! it is also obvious due to the fact that many times the dogs just get left behind or shot when they get injured, it's cruel and sick! Recently my brother found a little pointer x deerhound puppy who appears to be no more than 2 months old out on a property, for which there is no other explanation except for poachers who took dogs out there. it appears that the poor puppy who has been named Boss fell off the back of the vehicle as he has skin off his nose and head! Boss is a gorgeous little puppy he is so gentle and friendly, he just follows you around everywhere
But he is so skinny from being left behind, it's disgusting how people could do this to him
it makes me soo angry, i wish there were laws against dog hunting to either stop it or atleast have laws with the age and size of the dog as well as the protection it has!! But atleast Boss has a good home now and he gets along with all the other dogs
