Egypt Equine Aid (EEA) has been set up by an Australian couple to provide sanctuary and vet care to horses and donkeys in Cairo. They have already provided sanctuary for half of The Egypt Horse Project (TEHP) animals, a project run by an inexperienced Aussie girl (who runs it via Skype from her bedroom in Aus) and which has been exposed as a hell-hole.
EEA have a wonderful set up and even a live-in vet. Have a look at their Facebook page (link below) and see the difference they have already made to the sad horses and donkeys they rescued from TEHP.
They definitely need fellow Australians support and encouragement. A new venture, that will bring comfort and much needed care to equines in Cairo.
