Hello Im Melissa. I am 22 and live in Ballina NSW. I have been a vegan since February '11.  With every passing day I am becoming more and more certain I need this in my life. It is such a purposeful way to live.

I am studying at uni to be a journalist but my heart lies with writing. I want to write for those who do not have a voice, or are afraid to speak up. I want to leave a positive footprint.

I have a strange obsession with elephants and owls of the ceramic ornament variety. Really enjoy reading. I live by the notion that a house without books is not a home at all. I am a very friendly person so please feel free to "friend" me on here
