Im 17 and have been vegetarian for almost 3 years now. I'm very passionate about animals and animal welfare. I heard about Animals Australia at a Kisschasy concert. People were going around the crowd getting petition signatures and handing out leaflets. Then one day my mother found an animals australia stall at a festival. They gave her heaps of information for me and gave me leaflets. At that point in time i was only eating chicken and fish. Then  i saw the leaflets, all the information opened my eyes to what animals are going through and how they are killed. That's when i decided to become vegetarian. For me it wasnt that hard to give up meat. Im happy and proud of my decision to become a vegetarian. But just being a vegetarian wasn't enough for me, I had to be active too. I went around and recieved alot of signatures to stop the live exports. When i told people some information on it they were shocked. I had 2 pages of signatures. I was so pleased.

I really want to do more for animals. Their my life and i will continue to do more for them.
