Well, I've been vegetarian for 24 years. I was 10 and started to realise where this meat stuff came from.. then to the horror of my family announced that I wasn't eating it anymore. They of course thought it was a phase but ahh.. sorry dad! I've been vegan on and off throughout the years (never bought leather, etc) but late last year I just couldn't continue eating eggs, drinking milk or eating cheese. I'm mildly dairy intolerant so it was literally making me sick, haha, but it also made me feel emotionally sick thinking about how these products came to be in my fridge.

Because of that shift as well, I feel like I need to be doing more. So I've signed up with a few groups to take action. Every little action helps, as long as something is done and we don't just shrug our shoulders and think, well I'm only one person...
