I live in Perth, W.A.
I, and a growing force of people are heavily campaigning public awareness to stop the legalization to recreational hunt in WA.
An inquiry to legalize recreational hunting in W.A. National Pks and Public Land is being tabled, which has been strategically hushed from the majority of public, especially in metro areas.
We are also circulating a petition against recreation hunting in WA, formatted by ALP CHRIS TALLENTIRE Shadow Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Land. Chris Tallentire originally made me aware of the issue, which caused me to attend Senate enquiry to listen to Shooters and Fishers party forward their case.
Since that day I have worked hard to spread awareness, which has caused the majority of people shocked and oppose strongly to legalising recreation hunting. WE have held 2 protest so far at Parliament house. The 2nd protest was held on 4th Dec when the deciding panel were to announce their decision on enquiry. It was suddenly adjourned until February. Parliament house shut down that day. Our aim is for fire-arm laws to remain strict, if not stricter, and abolish the idea of recreational hunting in WA. We also wish for every state to join us, as Australia, the land, knows no state lines, and recreational hunting should be banned nation wide. If recreational hunting becomes legalized in all states the next step, eventually, will be to legalize guns. WE must cause a national stance on guns and other weapons.
