I am a beef farmer who has an interest in animal welfare.  I have a great deal of respect for animals regardless of whether they end up on my plate or not.  I am very concerned about the perception within animal rights groups that the world's population could be sustained on a purely vegan diet.  I feel this is positively dangerous propoganda to say the least.  I like a healthy debate and think it is paramount to a balanced argument.  I have been a member of AA before but for some reason have been unable to log on of recent so have had to create a new hotmail account.
