Nicholle: Not my choice Monday, 4 October 2010 at 7:24pm
i would love to save animals, because i love them so much, but in my house we must all eat meat. So far i eat as little as possible and i am eating more organic foods. But as soon as i'm 16 i'm going veggie!!!! SAVE THE ANIMALS!!
Isabelle: doctors... Sunday, 3 October 2010 at 5:24pm
I was veg fromthe time i was born until i was five when my dad decided real men eat meat and so we became a meat-eating family. when i was thirteen i decided to go veg because of the suffering of animals. i've been veg for 13 years since then and it's been great!!
One of my friends has been considering going veg and i've been trying to convince him, but his 'doctor' (obviously not that qualified/intelligent) toled him it was unhealthy and he'd have to spend hundreds of dollards a year onn vitamin supplements!!!  I'm still working on converting him...
Jess: Being Vegetarian Sunday, 3 October 2010 at 11:07am
I've always hated the thought of killing animals for food but never considered becoming a vegetarian until i saw 'Earthlings'. It changed my life. I'm a very compassionate person and i couldn't continue eating meat. It was hard to get support from my family and friends at first but now everyone accepts it and I'm so much happier knowing that i don't contribute to the slaughtering of innocent animals.
Reece: Vegetarian for 1 year so far :) Saturday, 2 October 2010 at 12:52pm
I live in Adelaide and it is hard to find vegetarian dishes in restaurants without going to the main city and traveling at least 30 mins by train/bus. it kind of sucks but it just means i get to eat more home cooked meals. brands like 'sanitarium' and 'frys' have done wonders for my life :P
Jennifer: My favorite Vegan Restaurant! Friday, 1 October 2010 at 2:40pm
If you live in Brisbane --- you simply MUST visit : www.lovinghut.com.au
The most delish vegan food - one can find!  They are in Mount Gravatt Central.
Check out their menu on their website.

p.s. Make sure you leave room for dessert:  they have the BEST Vegan Blueberry cheesecakes ever!

p.p.s If you haven't been there yet - you have begun to live

I find there are multiple benefits going vegan, there is nothing to loose and I just dont see anything appealling about cooked dead flesh and eating animals is so miserable. I dont think its fair for lives to suffer and be sacrificed just for a particular taste on your plate.
Merlyn: going veg Friday, 1 October 2010 at 10:39am
This week I am going Vegitarian, I am  only organic White Chicket eater anyway, but this week I'll go 100% for the animals
Karen: Friday, 1 October 2010 at 10:55am
Good for you Merlyn! Did you know you can buy mock chicken strips in the freezer section of the supermarket? The brand is called "Frys", and they go great in stir frys :) Let us know how you go!
Merlyn: Friday, 1 October 2010 at 11:05am
Thanks, I'll do that
Tony: Vegan Forever Friday, 1 October 2010 at 10:35am

Tony: Stop Factory Farming Friday, 1 October 2010 at 10:34am

Brendon: I'm a long term vegan Friday, 1 October 2010 at 12:26am
Heya!
I'm a long term vegan (in my mind anything over 2 years is long term and I'm nearly 4!) and it was the best decision I ever made.
It's changed my life in so many positive ways...
Do it! For yourself; the animals; the planet and for me! =)
JOhanna: I am a Vegan Thursday, 30 September 2010 at 10:00pm
Be vegan, go green, to save the planet. Only be a vegan, can help and save the world, if human beings kill animals to eat and harm them, karma will come back to human being.
anon: veg week! Thursday, 30 September 2010 at 9:36pm
Watching "Meet your meat" changed my life and I've been a vegetarian for over a year now. No matter where you go you will have people tearing you down and you will question your beliefs as a vegetarian/vegan especially in concern to your health if you're young. All you have to do is surround yourself with supportive and loving people that will encourage you in the choices you make. I've got this silly hope that one day i'll marry a veterinarian or someone who cares about animals as much as I do. Currently I'm trying to ease myself into a vegan lifestyle. Good luck guys!
sara: fish Thursday, 30 September 2010 at 8:58pm
I've cut out all animals from my diet, but I still eat fish. I recently went snorkling and ever since I've really struggled with the idea of eating those little sea critters. I think Veg Week is gonna be my official end to eating fish. It's full veg for from now on!
Janet91: Thursday, 30 September 2010 at 9:02pm
Good for you sara! I'm sure you'll be happy with the decision.
Jason: Vegan 4 Life! Thursday, 30 September 2010 at 8:55pm
I wouldn't have it any other way!
Animals are friends not food.
