Don’t stress—as much as we like to speak loudly against animal cruelty, we also like to keep things private, like your privacy on this site.
There's lots of stuff you can do on unleashed.org.au, like signing up for e-news, entering competitions, or joining the Action Team, and so we think it's important that you also know how we protect the information you entrust to us.
All information gathered by Animals Australia Unleashed is given directly and voluntarily. We collect e-mail addresses on petitions against animal cruelty at concerts, festivals and other events that we attend, as well as directly through this website. If you have joined the Unleashed E-News list in such a way, you will receive intermittent e-mail updates from us. Easy opt-out information is always posted at the bottom of every broadcast that we send.
We use the information you give to us in order to keep you up-to-date with the latest news and events at unleashed.org.au, and to allow you to participate in online community activities. At no point will we disclose your personal account information (including your full name, year of birth, and e-mail address) to the public. However, as a member of the Unleashed online community, you have the option to set up a public profile, in which you are encouraged to use a fictional screen name in place of your actual name.
We will never share your contact information with third parties (unless clearly stated otherwise on our website for a specific promotion) and take all reasonable precautions to protect the privacy of the information given through this website. Please click here for more details on the full privacy policy on Animals Australia's website.
