When you’re talking about Aussie pop superstars, The Veronicas are just about untouchable at the moment. Their pop rock tunes have been heating up charts worldwide, and with their single “Untouched” the twins from Bris Vegas have become the first Australian artists to achieve a platinum single in the U.S.
What makes Jess and Lisa all the more special is that they are still down to earth caring girls. We had heard these girls were passionate about animals (Jess was recently spotted in New York with a shirt against fur), but that didn’t make us any less surprised or delighted when the girls contacted us to invite us to table at their Melbourne shows on their Revenge is Sweeter Tour — we were over the moon!
After the show we met up with the girls and they were more than happy to sign our Hungry Jack’s petition, asking the fast food giant to stop locking animals in tiny cages. They also left a little message on our table — check out the video below to see what was on their mind...
It's little wonder that Jess and Lisa are so worked up over fur. When 60 minks are gassed, drowned, even skinned alive just for one ugly fur coat — who wouldn't be?! You can follow the Veronica's stylish lead and faux your wardrobe with cruelty-free fashion!
But it doesn't end there. Get the latest goss on The Veronicas and all your favourite bands by signing up for Unleashed e-news — our monthly broadcast packed with interviews, giveaways, and tips for helping animals!
